Sarah & Connor’s Fall Wedding at Della Terra Mountain Chateau | Colorado Wedding Photographer

If you’re dreaming of a Colorado mountain wedding surrounded by golden aspens and crisp fall air, Sarah and Connor’s October wedding at Della Terra Mountain Chateau is the perfect inspiration. Their day in Estes Park had everything that makes for the epitome of a Colorado fall wedding — peak fall colors, stunning mountain views, and an incredible celebration from start to finish.

Della Terra Mountain Chateau is such a picturesque venues as tucked just outside the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. On Sarah and Connor’s wedding day, the leaves were at their peak and made the day feel like something out of a movie.

From the start of the morning, it was clear that every detail of this wedding was planned with intention and love. Sarah and Connor are one of the most genuine and fun couples I’ve had the joy to work with, and their energy set the tone for the entire day.

Ceremony in the Mountains

Their outdoor ceremony was surrounded by towering evergreens and the golden aspen color. The mountain backdrop at Della Terra created a naturally beautiful setting that needed little decoration — just the Colorado landscape doing what it does best. The emotion between Sarah and Connor was so easy to capture, and every guest was fully present in the moment. It was truly such a fun crowd.

A Reception Full of Fun and Laughter

After a dreamy golden cocktail hour, the celebration moved inside Della Terra’s reception space. The atmosphere was electric from the very first dance. The couple filled the night with laughter, heartfelt toasts, games, and a packed dance floor — easily one of the most fun receptions I’ve ever photographed.

Right before dinner, Sarah and Connor surprised their guests with a lighthearted announcement. They took the microphone and shared that they were “expecting…” After a long pause, they finished — “expecting everyone to have a good time tonight!” The entire room erupted was naturally in shock and laughter and from that moment on, I knew it was going to be a wildly fun reception.
